As many of you know, Izatys Resort has been bank run for the past 4 years. Recently The Village at Izatys has been notified that the bank has sold Izatys Resort to a company called Izatys Acquisition Group. The new owners are planning to have the Blackbrook and Sanctuary golf courses open this season. The rest of the resort which is the clubhouse, pools, and links lodge hotel will be closed for extensive renovation with the intentions of having a grand reopening May 2014. The Village at Izatys Association is excited about the new owners and their plans to bring Izatys Resort back to its original splendor.

Izatys Resort Amenities

Owners at The Village at Izatys enjoy full use of the spectacular clubhouse, pools,  outdoor hot tub, marina and restaurant open 7 days a week and serving breakfasts at the renowned Izatys Resort.

The championship course, Blackbrook at Izatys is among the top resort courses in the country. Now it’s your home course. Sanctuary Course is now open offering 9 holes of golf.

You’ve never had fishing this good. Lake Mille Lacs, home of champion walleye.

Golf

Golf on achampionship course, Blackbrook, practice your game at the Driving Range, Putting Green or 3-Hole "Leisure Links". The Pro Shop is fully stocked with all your golfing needs along with a complete line of apparel. The course is traditionally open from May 1st. through Mid-October. Call at the Pro Shop at 320-532-4574 or book online tee times at www.izatys.com  for more information or to reserve your tee times.

Fishing

Walleye World is a full service marina for all your water activities. Pontoons are available for rental. Reserve a spot on the fishing launch, weekend Cocktail Cruise, or hire one of Izaty's fishing guides. Contact Walleye World for reservations and more information at 320-532-4574. Walleye World is open from April 15th to October 15th, and again during the winter fishing season by appointment. Call ahead to see what is available during your visit or to arrange your fishing adventure.

Outdoor Pools and Whirlpool

Located at the Clubhouse. Hours are from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Other Sport/Recreation Facilities

Mille Lacs, and miles of paved hiking/biking trails await. Picnic areas, playgrounds, fishing pier and boat launching area are other features of this park. For further information, call 320-676-8763.

Enjoy the Mille Lacs Lake Museum
Located in the town of Isle, visit the Ghost town exhibit featuring 7 local cities that are no more. The exhibit explores the boom and bust and the people who still call them home. For more information call 320-676-3945.

 Mille Lacs Hunting Lodge and Shooting Preserve Located just miles from Mille Lacs, the Lodge offers first class, licensed shooting, on a preserve of natural woods and grasslands. Hunting is available on a bird-release program that includes pheasants and chuckers. For more information, call 320-532-3384.

Visit the Antique and Craft Shops in the surrounding area. Pick up more information and directions at the Resort Office.

Visit Mille Lacs Indian Museum and Trading Post depicting life in a Native American village through the years. Museum hours vary within the seasons, please call for more information. 320-532-3632.
